Frisco Lebanon Trail senior Neeraj Kulkarni won the Region 2-5A title on Monday at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Neeraj was able to separate over the last half mile from Lovejoy junior Caden Gary and Frisco Memorial senior Judah Macias-Alexander.

Lovejoy captured another regional title as they ran for a lowly 45 team points. Their 15:54 average and 0.55 split was good to takt the win over runner-up off Frisco Wakeland who ran a 16:28 average with a 0.54 second split.
Also qualifying for the state meet as teams were Humble Kingwood Park scoring 163 points for third place to edge out Longview Pine Tree and their 164 points for the fourth and final qualifying position.
