The UIL state meet capped off an exhilarating cross country season with two days of the top UIL teams and individuals in Texas competing against one another.
With six classes and two distances being challenged, we have a couple of data points we think were important this past weekend.
We also merged the results and you can see how each competitor at both distances ranked as well as the teams at each distance.

Sub 17-minutes
Only three girls ran under seventeen-minutes this weekend in the 5K. Elizabeth Leachman (Boerne Champion) ran 16:25 for a new state meet course record in the UIL 5A race, Macy Wingard (Denton Braswell) ran 16:57 in the UIL 6A race, and San Juanita Leal (Edinburg North) also ran 16:57 in the UIL 6A race.
