New Balance Outdoor Nationals
Over the weekend, there were four national meets and three that allows athletes to lay claim to national champions.
Earlier in the week we saw the Brooks PR Invitational and the weekend brought the Nike Outdoor Nationals, New Balance Outdoor Nationals, and the Adidas Nationals.
Despite having state championships six weeks ago, throughout the country there were many Texas athletes competing.
There weren't as many Texas athletes at tbe New Balance Outdoor Nationals as last year, but there were still some impressive performances. We have the top nine finishers in the events at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, PA.
There were a lot of quality runs, jumps, and throws that were beyond the top nine like Mia Perez (Smithson Valley) who placed 17th overall in the girls 800m with a phenomenal 2:08.96 run.
