Ruel Newberry continues to rack up the accomplishments and acknowledgements. Last week, her landed in our Texas Boys POW poll thanks to a 14:54 run and win at the Chile Pepper Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas.

Already having won a MileSplit National POW, Newberry pocketed the Texas win last week by amassing 1,035 votes for 53% of the total vote. 

His outstanding performance and votes earned him the win over some of the state's best runners in Joaquin De La Cruz (McKinney Boyd) who was the second best vote earner and Benjamin Montgomery (Bridgeland) who was the third best voter getter.
