Harlan Beucler (Dallas Jesuit) burst into last week's POW poll after blasting up and down the track at his own school's meet, the Jesuit Sheaner Relays. He won the 200m with a 20.76 (+3.5) out running two of Texas' top sprinters.
The junior received a whopping 51.75 % of the overall vote with 7,802 casted in his favor. Fellow sprinter and Jesuit Sheaner Relays winner Andrew Casagrande (Richardson Pierce) was second with a very good vote turnout of 5,100 and pole vaulter Thomas Bucks (San Antonio Johnson) was the third best vote recipient with 2,080.
