Alyssa Diaz and Cali Roper really battled it out the and a new state champion was crowned. Alyssa and Cali took it out early going through the 1600m at 5:21. Karlee Kleiber really suprised as she was only a few seconds behind the leaders with 4 laps to go. Karlee came in with the 6th best time in the field. With about 800 to go Alyssa gapped the field on her way to a victory running an impressive 10:47. Cali and Karlee both broke 11 running 10:54 and 10:59.
