What a fantastic race this one turned out to be. Reid Strong was the heavy favorite but he did not have it easy as he had to put down a tremendous kick to beat a game Harvinder Singh. The race actually started out on pace with the lead pack coming comfortably at 4:41. With 4 laps to go there was a nice pack of 6. With 600 to go Erik Forrister made a gutsy move to take the lead. At the 400 make Harvinder Singh really made a strong move to take the lead. Reid Strong took the lead with 200m to go but Harvinder Singh would not go away. Reid Strong wins in 9:24 with a 59 last lap.
