This Week's Nominees:
Addyson Bristow, Canyon (Texas): Swept the distance races at the West Texas A&M Regional Qualifiers, clocking 2:09.95 to win the 800 and 5:00.78 to take the 1600. Her 800 time led all competitors across the meet.
Ava Rushing, Plainview (Texas): Threw 147-7 to win the discus at the West Texas A&M Regional Qualifiers, the top mark among all throwers at the meet. Also placed second in the shot put with a toss of 42-7.
Nelly Thiessen, Panhandle (Texas): Won the shot put at the West Texas A&M Regional Qualifiers with a throw of 43-9, topping the field that included state-ranked Ava Rushing. Also competed in the 100, running 12.80.
Omeira Bearss, Whitewright (Texas): Cleared 12-6 to win the pole vault at the Muenster Regional Qualifier Relays 1A-3A, posting the top mark among all vaulters at the meet.
Amariah Molden, Magnolia (Texas): The #10 sophomore in the state ran 55.97 to win the 400 at the Huffman Regional Qualifiers Meet, moving to #7 in Texas this season.
