Ben Haywood has been to UIL State in the pole vault three times. In 2024 he cleared 14-6 and finished sixth. In 2025 he cleared 16-6 and finished third. This year he soared over 17-6 and won.
That 17-6 ranks 4th nationally. He won the Mac Vault Summer National Championships last July at 17-0. At the Tomball Memorial Wildcat Relays on Mar 20 he vaulted 17-1 to win. Every time he has entered a vault competition this spring he has won it, with the one exception of a fourth-place finish at Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at 16-11.5 in early April. He is not a one-event athlete -- his 2024 season included a 14.32 in the 110 hurdles and a 23-4 long jump.
Victoria Mason ran a 1:00.53 in the 400 at UIL District as a freshman in 2023. This spring she ran 53.73 at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet High School Invitational, 13th in Texas. Nearly seven seconds dropped across four years, the last of which produced the best 400 she has ever run. Her 200 PR of 24.40 came at the Hornet Track Meet on Mar 27, 99th in Texas.
Hafsa Yakub has been competing since 2023 JV meets -- 32-3 in the triple jump at the Cub Relays JV meet in March of that year. Her PR is now 38-9.5, jumped at the Tomball Memorial Wildcat Relays on Mar 20, 46th in Texas. She went to the AAU Junior Olympic Games last summer in the triple jump at 34-9. She also long jumps, with a career PR of 16-9.75. Safiya Yakub is 81st in Texas in the 400 at 56.35.
The rest of the roster has athletes across every discipline. Rhianna Tyler (2026) is 67th in Texas in the 100 at 11.71 and 95th in the 200 at 24.34. Alec Petty (2027) has vaulted 14-9, 69th in Texas.
