Jennings earned Texas' highest boys finish of the opening weekend, placing second for DeSoto Swift. He crossed just 0.13 seconds behind champion Reign Centano in the closest race walk finish of the day.
Jalen Barker - 10-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 9:06.93
Barker added another podium finish for DeSoto Swift, placing third in the 10-year-old division. His 9:06.93 performance left him only 14.54 seconds behind the national champion.
Deion Winters - 11-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 9:10.48
Winters placed fourth nationally for STX Lightning. He finished less than seven seconds behind the winner and was just 0.65 seconds away from a podium position.
Kingston Franklin - 10-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 10:07.51
Franklin secured a sixth-place finish for S.A. Unleashed Track Club. He edged Golden Triangle Xtreme Speed's Gabrel Salisbury by 0.19 seconds in a close battle for sixth.
Jayceon Thomas - 9-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 11:19.64
Thomas placed sixth for BU Saints Houston, narrowly missing a top-five finish. He crossed only five-hundredths of a second behind fifth-place finisher Hezekiah Greene-Gonzalez.

Sadie Spaulding - 11-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 9:07.77
Spaulding produced the top Texas girls result of the opening weekend, finishing second for Texas Athletics. She separated herself from the rest of the field, finishing nearly 19 seconds ahead of third place.
Tierra Wesley - 9-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 11:15.78
Wesley earned a top-five finish for DeSoto Swift. Her fifth-place time of 11:15.78 held off Zaniyah Atmore by just 0.19 seconds.
Sophia Adams - 12-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 10:46.57
Adams finished 10th nationally for Central Texas Road Runners. She was one of 10 athletes in the competition to break 11 minutes.
Jules Hopkins - 10-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 11:13.17
Hopkins placed 11th for DeSoto Swift, missing a top-10 finish by only 0.22 seconds. Her performance gave DeSoto Swift another strong result across the younger race walk divisions.
Antoinette Abraham - 11-year-old 1,500-meter race walk, 11:27.17
Abraham finished 11th for Texas Select Track Club. She became the second Texas athlete among the top 11 in the division, joining runner-up Sadie Spaulding.
