The McNeil Invitational is a great prep for the athletes who anticipate on running here in November at the state meet. Many teams took advantage of checking out the state course this year with many great performances highlighted by Jordan Valle and Bailey Belvis. Both athletes won the Gold divisions in 15:29 and 18:24 respectively. Jordan beat a talented field including Donovan Torres, Jim Stitt, Andrew Herrera, and Palo Pounce. Jordan's victory makes him one of the favorites to medal in a loaded 4A division. Bailey Belvis continued her impressive season as the 3A standout won the Gold Girls 5k race in 18:24 beating 5A Region IV favorite Tricia Terry by 12 seconds.
