The Texas Tech track and field team hosted the Wes Kittley Invitational at the Athletic Training Center Saturday and finished the meet with 16 first-place finishes, eight provisional qualifying marks, two school records and five ATC records.

Texas Tech Junior Jonathon Johnson is headed to Athens. Jonathon won in 1:44.77. Jonathon was the NCAA champion at the same distance earlier this year.
