Lake Highlands boys track coach Al Troyer called his wife Saturday evening and told her the good news. Troyer\'s deep and talented squad had just won the Class 5A team title at the 42nd Jesuit-Sheaner Relays at Jesuit\'s Haggar Stadium. It was Lake Highlands\' third win in four meets this season, and it finished second in the other.

Congratulations to Brandon Washington (Fort Bend Marshal) and Sandy Wooten (Mineral Wells) for ROW honors. Brandon won the 400m in a quick 47.8 and came back and anchored his team in a 4x4 victory in a time of 3:19. Sandy had a very impressive 100/400 double. Both times lead the state in their events. She ran an 11.68 FAT and 54.27 FAT at UTSA Relays
