Track & Field Starts 2012 with Record Breaking Performances Jan 14, 2012

The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team set four school records Saturday in College Station, Texas, at the Texas A&M Invitational to open the 2012 indoor season. The SFA women set new records in the 1,600-meter relay and the mile run, while the 'Jacks set marks in the triple jump and 3,000-meter run.

Men third, women fourth at indoor opener Jan 14, 2012

The UT Arlington men's and women's track and field teams each had strong showings Saturday in their 2012 indoor season opener, the Texas 10-Team Invitational hosted by Texas A&M. The men placed third with 67 points, just one behind second-place Baylor, while the women landed in a fourth-place tie with 48 points.
