TEXAS TOP40 QUALIFYING
PROCEDURES and POLICIES
Sponsored by the CROSS COUNTRY COACHES ASSOCIATION of TEXAS
The top 40 girl milers and top 40 boy milers in Texas will be
eligible for the TEXAS TOP40 MILE race. The next 5 girls/boys will be extended at-large invitations in case of top 40 runner cancelations.
The race will be held on the Texas A&M Cross Country
course in College Station, Texas, on May 21, 2016.
Only 2016 outdoor UIL track 1600/Mile Run marks will be
accepted for qualification. If you have run an un-posted time
that you think should include you in the rankings, please
contact us ASAP. Include your name, your school, the date
the mark was achieved, and a copy of the results from that
meet for verification purposes.
To be eligible for selection, your coach must be a member of
the Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas. If your
coach is not a member, please go to www.cccat.org for info
on how to join.
The CCCAT will provide participants with lodging, meals,
and a race singlet.
