The North Texas and the DFW Metroplex have been suffering from bad track and field weather. This weekend was a break from the madness and a warm front came through. That was the break North Texans were waiting for to bust some big track and field marks to catch up with the rest of the state. They did just that on Thursday and Friday. The Lancaster Meet of Champions was that opportunity and they took advantage of it. The boys 4x100 relay was a great example.Check out the results from the event that saw Tyler John Tyler run to a US #1 40.66.
If you haven't heard, the DeSoto girls are good....very good. This might be coach Villers' best squad ever, and that is saying A LOT!The Lady Eagles' 4x100 Relay has already proven that they going to have a special 2019 season as hey have run under 46 seconds twice already this year.Yesterday, they did it again and they made it look very simple. Watch as they ran a US #1 45.37 and led two other teams under 47.00 and four more under 48.00.
Watch as some of the fastest times in the country were ran at Lancaster.
You don't want to miss how things went down at the Meet of Champions.
The DeSoto girls can flat out BLAZE and they did so in the 4x100 relay on Friday afternoon.
