UIL Rule: Covid restrictions this year allow only the top 2 teams and top 10 individuals to qualify for the regional championship.

Covid Retrictions: We will do our best to insure social distancing is taking place. Per Texas State regulations, all coaches, workers, and fans will be expected to wear a mask at all times. Athletes will be expected to wear a mask at all times they are not actually running (warmup, race, or cooldown). Please help us enforce this with your athletes and fans.

Each team will be given 3 lanyards with their school name on it. These lanyards are for coaches, trainers, and/or managers. These lanyards will give access to the start line and the football field, which includes the track and finish line. Those without a lanyard will not be allowed on the two grass practice fields that the starting line is located on, or the turf field.

Athletes will not be allowed on the course unless they are racing. There will be no walking the course or warming up on the course. There will be two races per division. Each race will start on time (cell phone time) so please have your athletes in the staging area, race-ready, 5-10 minutes before their race. We will not allow backpacks or sweats of any kind in the staging area or on the start line 1-2 minutes before race time the athletes will be allowed to approach the start line. After each athlete crosses the finish line, they will be expected to walk up the stairs that are on the east side of the north stands and leave the area of competition immediately. The Area of Competition (inside the fence area, and grass practice fields) must be cleared before the next session of races can begin.

I have attached copies of the course maps.
