H.S. Cross Country National Invite Information
Meet to be Hosted 12/5/20 at LCU Cross Country Course
Race Details:
JH races will be 2 miles and will be 1 loop of course
5k races will be a 1 mile loop first, then the 2 Mile loop
Loud PA system for announcements and play by play
RFID timing with video boards and instant results after the race is complete
We will have lead and follow carts
We will have an athletic trainer onsite, as well as security

8:30am JH Boys 2 Mile
9:00am JH Girls 2 Mile
9:30am Elite Boys 5k (Section A)
10:20am Elite Girls 5k (Section A)
11:10am Elite Boys 5k (Section B)
12:00pm Elite Girls 5k (Section B)
12:50pm Community 5k (boys)
1:40pm Community 5k (girls)
Again, we will provide as many races needed to meet the demand for all ability levels.
Entry Information:
All entries will be done on directathletics.com (HS CC National Invite). Entries are now open and will close on 11/27 at 12:00pm.
Entry fee is $20 per runner (individual or as part of a team)
Teams are capped at 7 runners
All runners entered on a team must attend the same high school, no all-star teams allowed
Races are capped at 20 teams (140 runners) each and 28 individuals (modifications can be made to reduce teams and add more individuals)
We will ensure the top teams and individuals end up in Section A, regardless of where you are entered
Awards:
Top team in each race will be awarded first place award
Top 15 individuals in each race will receive awards
Every runner will receive a custom bib
Covid-19 Protocols:
We have 3 separate large warm-up areas (off-site) that all have different entrances/exits from the course and are within 500m of the starting line. These will all be utilized for all race warm-ups.
Team camps will not be allowed on course but will be allowed at warm-up area
Teams are allowed to enter race course 15 minutes before their race is set to start. Teams must leave course within 15 minutes after race.
All fans will be required to wear masks (this will be strictly enforced)
All competing athletes will need to wear mask before warming up and after they are done racing but it will be required between those times.
Property is mostly fenced off and we will provide temporary fencing/gate workers where it is not, to prevent any unauthorized entry to protect mask policy
All boxes will be 6' wide and will have an empty 6' box next to them.
RFID chips on the bibs will be used to prevent extra handling of shoe chips.
There will be bottled water for every runner after the race
