Registration must be paid online through Paypal before the entries close (11/16/21 at noon CT) or those entries will not be accepted and deleted from system.

This meet will be broadcasted live on Milesplit.com.

The meet will be held at the cross country course at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. The course is among the fastest and best in the nation and is entirely soft surface--primarily Bermuda grass. Once registration is open, all teams that want to enter may enter until capacity is reached. Meet entry will be on first-come, first-served basis, but the meet can support approximately 80 teams per gender. We anticipate having four championship races (boys/girls in two divisions). There will be open races for teams that wish to bring more than seven per gender. There will be limited space for individuals from small schools as well, with cutoffs of 16:45 and 20:00 to be entered in a championship race.

Small schools are defined as schools with student enrollments of less than 1000 students (use the current school enrollment for state classification purposes). Single-gender schools must double their enrollment count for purposes of this meet. For states that run eighth graders in high school competition, those individuals may participate, but the school enrollment must be multiplied by 1.25 in that case. Under no circumstances may teams combine individuals from multiple high school teams. Under no circumstances may teams use athletes who were not fully varsity-eligible throughout the season. Failure to abide by these rules will result in forfeiture of awards and recognition. Results from athletes who do not meet these criteria may be expunged from the meet results at the discretion of the meet director.

School names must be replaced with club team names. This is not a scholastic event. For ease of registration, you may register a team through your school page if you have no club page on the MileSplit site, but send an email to versawa @ msn.com to let us know what club name your team will run under.

Athletes are entered at a rate of $25 per athlete with a maximum of $450 per team. All athletes should be entered according to gender. It is assumed you will make a final determination of your varsity seven for boys and girls on race day. All other entered athletes may run in the open races. No refunds.

Only high school athletes should be registered at this meet page. There will be a community race (see separate meet page) held in conjunction with the event. The community race will include parents, coaches, siblings, and anyone else included to match their conditioning to a fast 5K course.
