2022 Unicorn Cross Country Invitational

Date:	August 27, 2022

Host/Location: New Braunfels HS; Comal County Fairgrounds, New Braunfels

Schedule:	7:00 a.m.	Coaches Meeting
7:10	National Anthem
		7:15	Varsity Girls (10 runners max) (3K)
		7:35	Varsity Boys (10 runners max) (3K)
		7:50	JV Girls (unlimited # runners) (3K)
		8:10	JV Boys (unlimited # runners) (3K)
		8:30	Junior High Girls (no team scoring; 1600M)	8:40	Junior High Boys (no team scoring; 1600M)
		9:00	Awards

Note on Schedule: If we have a very large # of runners in the JV races we may split the entrants into 2 races, separated by school size.
Note on races: JV Boys and all HS Girl races: If a runner cannot finish in under 20 minutes, you will not receive a time. We will reset the clock and begin the next race. For Varsity Boys that time is under 15 minutes. *

Timing & Scoring: We will be chip timing high school races only through the Athlete Guild. Details on how to register your runners will follow.

Team Entries: Field will be limited to 14 teams. Preference is given to schools who bring full squads (VB,VG, JVB,JVG). If you plan to attend please let us know asap.

Course: Mostly grass, very little pavement. The course is about 1+ mile for Junior High, about 3200 Meters (2 miles) for ALL High School divisions.

Awards:	Varsity divisions: Team Championship & Runner up plaque
		Junior Varsity division: Team Championship plaque
		Top 15 medals for all HS divisions; Top 20 MS

High School Entry Fees: $85 per Varsity team; $65 per JV team; Max HS entry fee is $300.00; $10 per individual.
Middle School Entry Fees: $40 per MS, per gender. Unlimited # runners. Max $70 if you bring both. $5 per individual.
