To all coaches and fans:
Welcome
to another great season of exciting cross-country competition. Tornillo
High School Along with San Eli High School would like to invite you and
your team to the coyotes' desert run. The meet will be held at Tornillo
high school. It will take place Friday September 9th starting promptly
at 6pm. There will be only two races however we will have 4 divisions.
Open boys and girls will have first race. Second and final race will be
varsity boys and girls. PLEASE NOTE IF THERE IS A NEED TO START SECOND
RACE EARLIER DUE TO SUNLIGHT ISSUES, WE WILL DO A WAVE START FOR IT.
Order of competitions:
OPEN BOYS & GIRLS (together)
ELITE BOYS & GIRLS (together)
Distance: 5K all races
Course:
Race will consist of the start inside the football field and head out
around the campuses using dirt roads, ditches and arroyos.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 20 individual finishers
1st 2nd and 3rd place teams will get a trophy
Misc: (parking) there will be designated parking to make race more spectator friendly
(Registration) MILESPLIT
(Water) available AFTER THE RACE. Bring your own bottles
(Restrooms) Will be available next to the concession stand
(Concession) TBD
(TRAINER) PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE NO TRAINER OR SUPPLIES ON SITE, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN.
If after registration closes you decide to run an athlete in another division you must inform the timers so that they can make the changes to the database or your athlete will probably for receive a time/place.
