Baylor Bear Invitational 2009

CJ opened his college career with a first place finish at the Texas State Invitational in San Marcos while Nicole opened her season with a victory over a strong field at the Baylor Twilight Meet in Waco. Also earning Running of the Week honors were Division II Runners Shawn Weidner and Sydnee Cole and Division III runners Tami Warner and Jeff Chandler.

Texas A&M cross country opened the 2009 season at the Baylor Twilight, placing second in both the men's and women's team scoring. Freshmen led each squad with the effort of Stephen Curry and Itzel Cetina.

The Baylor cross country teams kicked off the 2009 season with a spectacular effort in their only home meet of the regular season, winning both the men's and women's team titles at the annual Bear Twilight Invitational. Senior Nichole Jones won the individual title for the third year in a row for the women, while Robbie Knorr took the individual title on the men's side.
