TMS Track Meet 3-6-24
Thank you for participating in the Taylor MS Relays Wednesday, March 6th 2024. There will be 4 divisions: 7th and 8th grade Boys and Girls. Entree Fees will be $150 per division. (7th Girls, 8th Girls, 7th Boys, 8th Boys) $300 for both 7th and 8th grade Girls and $300 for both 7th and 8th grade boys. Please make all checks payable to: ATTN: Peter Reese

You will enter your athlete through Milesplit. We will send out the login information at a later date before the meet. Deadline for entries is March 4th at 10:00 PM. Please have all entries finalized at that time. The meet will be held at The Taylor High School Athletic Complex. The address of the High School is 355 FM 973 in Taylor, Texas. Busses will need to enter the western most entry and park behind the field house near the baseball and softball fields. Athletes only will sit on the visitor side. Parents and fans will need to park on the north side of the field and enter through the home side gate and only sit on the home side.
General information:
Scratch Meeting at 3:30 in the Field House
Please no tape on the track.
Please no gatorade or sunflower seeds on the field.
Field events will begin at 4:15. Athletes will receive 3 attempts in the long jump, Triple Jump, and all throwing events.
Pole Vault will begin at 4:15
EACH SCHOOL WILL WORK AN EVENT (LIST BELOW)
The 2400 will start at 4:45
All other running events will begin around 6:15.
Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd place. Plaques for 1st place teams.
Please be dressed as there will be no dressing facilities.
Contestants will warm up on the football field prior to their event. When not warming up, students need to be in the Visitor side bleachers. Please ensure that athletes clean their area before leaving.
Blocks will be furnished
Results will be provided at the end of the meet in the field house.
Concession Stand will be available.
Coaches will get a ticket for a meal deal from the concession stand. As well as drinks and snacks in the scratch meeting.

TEAM MEALS
The Taylor MS Athletic Dept will offer a meal deal for $7. Make checks payable to TMS Athletics. We will need a count of how many meals, if any, you need by Monday, March 4th Complimentary meal deals will be available for coaches. Please contact Coach Clifton with your meal numbers by the end of the school day on March 4th, 2024.
Fields Events:
Taylor will provide all clipboards, pencils, tape measures, markers, brooms, rakes, measuring devices for HJ & PV, etc. We will need all workers to report 45 minutes before the assigned event. Field event participants will get 3 attempts. PV and HJ get 3 at each height. We will have a max of 3 athletes per event
