Sealy HS will be hosting the District 23-4A Cross Country Championships on Wednesday, October 14th on the campus of Sealy HS. Athlete Guild will be the official timer. Coaches will need to send in their Cross Country Entry form by Wednesday, October 7th to deschenburg@sealyisd.com.

Advancing to regionals: 

The top 10 individual finishers in the varsity boys/girls race and top 3 teams will advance to the Regional Meet in Huntsville on Monday, October 25, 2026.

Entries

Varsity:7 runners maximum

Junior Varsity:Unlimited 

A team must consist of a minimum of 5 runners and a max of 7 runners. If you have less than 5, then your school will not be eligible in team standings. 

RostersAll rosters of all possible contestants must register through Mile Split by Wednesday, October 7th The deadline for varsity rosters is also on Wednesday, October, 7th. If you have any alternates, include them on the varsity roster.

MeetingWe will have a coaches meeting in the girls coaches office the morning of the meet at 8:30 am.

Team Camp Team camp area will be on the football practice field inside the track. Please make sure to pick up any trash in your camp area after the meet.

Restrooms There are  restroom facilities next to the softball concession stand.  No one will be allowed inside the school to use the restrooms. 

Registration Packet pick up will open from 8:00 - 8:30 am in the girls coaches office at Sealy HS.  

Parking There will be a designated area for  parking buses as well as spectators. Coaches will be receiving an email with a parking map and course map.

Meet workersEach school will need to bring one person to help work the meet
