Texas Tech Invitational 2011

Texas Tech's Shade Weygandt highlighted a great weekend for the Tech track teams, as she automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships in the women's pole vault and cleared the highest mark by an American female under the age of 20 with her 4.40M/14'-5.25", on the final day of the Texas Tech Invitational held at the Athletic Training Facility.

The Texas Tech track team had fireworks on the first day of the Texas Tech Invitational held at the Athletic Training Center, as All-American Bryce Lamb auto-qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the long jump.

The No. 7 Red Raiders and No. 18 Lady Raiders track teams are set to host their second meet of the season, the Texas Tech Invitational, at the Athletic Training Center with events slated to begin on Fri., Jan. 21 at 6 p.m.
