The race conditions were pretty brutal when the boys 400m hit track, and they ran into a heavy wind, preventing the sub-46s times we most certainly would've seen from many of the athletes in this race.
Coming down the final 50m, Mike Norman began to pull away from the rest of the field, but it was Igbokwe and London who proved to be the strongest in the remaining pack, putting two Texas athletes onto the podium.
