With that in mind, it's no surprise to see seniors as the top finishers in the Open race. Eric Villagrana ran a smart race, not going out too hard, then picking off the leaders one by one to take the lead and open a gap all the way into the finish in a new PR 16:06. His time would almost have put him in the Top-10 in the elite race!Team Recap:A handful of teams owned the Top-10. Mesquite and Southlake put 6 athletes in the Top-7. Led by Ivan Hernandez, Arlington Heights also put 2 athletes in the Top-10.
