Wilson is just one of the elite runners at Montgomery, but as she showed last year she is an elite talent. She helped lead her team to the state meet and earned her second straight individual medal at the state meet.
As far as being elite....she ran herself to NXN to race the nation's best with her 18:00.08 and fifth place finish at NXR South.
Prior to that she ran a 17:38.80 PR at state and also was a top ten finisher in every race except for her 35th place finish at NXN last year. On the track, Wilson went 7:59.05 in an early 5K on the track in February and then a 5:06.47 in the 1600m later in the season.
Wilson and her Montgomery squad moves down to 5A and she will look to get the team back to state. Personally, she could improve on last year's great season and to a national post season meet.
