Fairfield girls had a great weekend at the Region 3-3A Championships

The Region 3-3A and the Region Championships went down in Waco, Texas at Panther Stadium.
That's where we saw field event studs like Calen Jones and Linus Mannino jumping 6-9 and 6-10 and Claire Lowrey also sky highed for 5-10 on the girls side.
Yierra Flemings had a great weekend including a 19-11 long jump and Ayanna Jones added a 20-10 in the 6A girls long jump.
Also in the field events, India Alix triple jumped 40-4.25 into a headwind and in the pole vault, Molly Haywood jumped 14-4 and Colton Rhodes popped a huge 17-6 on the boys side.
If the field event performances didn't impress you, consider the track action. Pierre Goree continued his dominance in the 100m, Khamari Terrell went for 20 point 200m runs two days in a row including 20.50 for the win.
For more evidence of speed, the Klein Forest and Duncanville relays were magnificent and Jayla Franklin was untouchable all weekend long.
