The Sharyland boys are having quite the 2022 season. Coach Jorge Guerra and staff are seeing junior and senior runners mixed with youth who are getting better and running faster every weekend.
Last week, the No. 9 ranked team in the CCCAT poll and the No. 1 team in the RGVCCCA poll ran to the Meet of Champions team victory. They ran a 16:21 team average with a 1:03 split.
The team is focused on getting as good and fast as they as well as taking this thing as far as they can go this this season. However, they're not only focused on winning. The team has character and it's relevant by watching their interview.
