Girls 300H

In lane 5 it was the defending gold medalist Camdyn Childs a senior from Barksdale Nueces Canyon and in lane 6 was the defending silver medalist Alli Scotta senior from Moran. The fastest seed time from the regional meets was the freshman from Silverton Maddie Francis with a time of 46.28.

Would it be the seniors making a repeat performance or would it be the freshman stealing the show. With a smooth start and a shot of the gun the girls took off. It was the freshman from Silverton looking very strong from the get go.

With 100m to go Francis led the way gliding over the hurdles and capturing the gold medal with a time of 46.96. Scott won the silver medal with a time of 47.47 and Emma Samaron, a junior from Earth Springlake came across the finish line in third place with a time of 47.64.
