State of the Action: Kaylor Harris and L'Shunique Hamilton were the top seeds after winning their prelim heats easily. What looked to be a close battle heading into the finals turned into a blowout. Harris couldn't have gotten out of the blocks any better. She exploded off the start and powered away to win in dominating fashion.

State of the Action: Danyel White was the overwhelming favorite coming into the meet, and after crusiing to a 25.05 in the prelims, there was no questioning that fact.White won with a solid 24.64 in the finals. Not her SB, but watch for her to post faster times when she gets in a race with other sub-25 athletes.

State of the Action: Not to diminish the other athletes in this race, but no one was going to challenge Aaliyah Miller. Give credit to Jhane King who competed at New Balance Nationals Indoors last weekend, and is already back in action outdoors taking second. While Miller was the overall champ, the most impressive result came out of the Freshmen from Prosper. Jade Hinds also competed at NBNI, but she came back and posted a 57.98 in the Sheaner prelims. A PR for her by over a second and vaults into the Top-25 in the State Rankings.

Girls 100H | |||||
State of the Action: Sammy Gonzalez is a force in the hurdles. Her strength is the 300H, but after a long season racing indoors, she is using the experience running the 60H into faster times this season than she ran during the early stage of 2014. 2nd in the finals, Kaylee Hinton's 14.65 is .03 off her PR and no good for Top-20 in the state. The Sheaner Relays may have been a coming out party for freshmen Alyssa Miller who hit a new PR as she works her way towards that sub-15 time. A rising star to keep an eye on down the road.
