Flower Mound Takes Down The Mansfield Invitational
Boys Recap
- In the boys race the team from Flower Mound won the title with a total of 44 points. They had a 1-5 split of only 10 seconds. The squad was lead by junior Michael Romero, who ran 16:12 to place 8th. His teammates were right behind him, all of the top 5 placing in the top 15. The guys from Plano West scored 80 points to place second. They were lead by the Jackson Vicary who won the individual race running 15:46. Ivan Hernandez, finished 2nd running 15:52 while Derek Espinoza, finished 3rd running 16:03.
Girls Recap
- The girls from Flower Mound also dominated their race scoring 43 points. They were lead by Grace Graves who finished 2nd running 18:48. Finishing in first and winning the individual crown was Maddie Vondra from Fort Worth Arlington Heights. Vondra covered the course in 18:41. In the team standings Plano West was second with 76 points.
