Paige Hofstad Out With Injury!

New Braunfels senior Paige Hofstad may not be racing for the remainder of the cross country season. Hofstad told MileSplit that she is injured, and will not be running at the Region meet tomorrow, or the Texas State Meet. She was runner up at last year's state meet in class 6A. After that performance, she went on to run both Foot Locker (4th) and NXN (2nd). She would be the top returner in both races if she can get healthy enough to run by the qualifying meets. Injuries also prevented her from competing for most of the 2015 track season. Hofstad had run four meets this season, and won all four easily. Her season's best time was 17:23, which she ran to win the Southlake Carroll Invitational.

Unfortunate to see her out once again as she appeared to be coming back strong! We wish her a speedy recovery and hope that she is able to work through her injury in time to perform at the national championship meets.
