It's time to take an in depth look at NXN South. It's the culmination of the Texas XC season and is shaping up to finish in races we wont soon forget. The Top-2 teams in the championship races will qualify automatically for Nike Cross Nationals on December 5th. Once you pull out those teams from the results, the next five individuals will also qualify. Four total teams across all nine regions will be awarded at large bids on November 28th. The reality of the current US team outlook is that it's not likely any teams from the South Region would get an at large bid this year, making the Top-2 team positions that much more important.
