Abbey Santoro (Keller - 2018)
Santoro is one of the top sophomore female distance runners in the state. She had four wins to her name this year including District 5 championship. She ran solid against some big competition at the beginning of the year placing 6th at Marcus I, and 8th at the Southlake Carroll Invitational. She had a huge post season placing 3rd in the highly competitive 6A Region 1 race. Santoro followed that up with a major 3rd place finish at State. In the post season she had another big race at NXN South missing an NXN individual qualifying spot by two places. She topped of her sophomore cross country champaign with a 45th place finish in the seeded girls race at the Foot Locker South race.
