Madie Boreman (Leander Rouse - 2016)
The Leander Rouse senior and University of Colorado commit did not race as much as some of the girls on the list due to college visits, but every time she did lace up she ran well. In her fist race of the season she won the The Woodlands Friday Night Lights XC Invitational, and followed it up with a 7th place finish at McNeil. She then won both the 6A District 13 title as well as the 6A Region 2 title. At State Boreman placed 7th, and followed it up with a 4th place finish at NXN South earning her a trip to Portland to compete against some of the nations best at NXN. At NXN Boreman represented Texas well placing 27th only six spots off of All-American.
