Tripp Piperi Joins 70' club!
Adrian (Tripp) Piperi posted a U.S. #1 throw of 70'1" to win the College Park Mitch Reed Invitational this weekend. The Woodlands senior has been on fire this season throwing 69' or better in every meet. This weekends throw is a 1.25" PR for the senior. The throw would have been U.S. #3 for all of 2015 and is this year's U.S. #1 by an inch. He's now 2'2" from being one of the top 10 male performers in high school shot put history. He also won the discus throwing 185'10" which would rank U.S. #9 if he didn't already hold the U.S. #5 spot with his 190'6" throw from the Oakridge Invite. Check out more awesome shot put stats here!
