Joseph Sheffield is entered in the 100m and will run on his school's 4x100m team this weekend at Texas Relays. His 10.34 is the third fastest wind-aided time in the state. He will be one fo the guys in the hunt for the Texas Relays 100m title. Check out what he had to say about this weekend's matchup below!

Texas MileSplit: What are you most excited for about this weekend? What are you looking forward to most?

Joseph Sheffield: The experience. I'm looking forward to competing against great runners.

Texas MileSplit: Do you feel like running at this meet will help you down the road at meets like districts, regions, areas, and State? If so why?

Joseph Sheffield: Yes,because I'll race heavy competition.

Texas MileSplit: What are your goals for the race? Is there a certain time you're looking to hit?

Joseph Sheffield: My goal would have to be improving my time from Jesuit. No time looking to hit.

Texas MileSplit: Having one of the fastest wind-aided times in the state/ country do you feel like you have a target on your back at all?

Joseph Sheffield: Yes I do a little

Texas MileSplit: What are your team's goals in the 4x100m, and what's it going to take to get that goal?

Joseph Sheffield: Our goal would have to be improving on our time. It will take good stick passes.
