This years state meet was my favorite race, I finished in 19th place. That is the 2nd best finish in school history.

My biggest competition through my high school career was my teammate Collin Carter. We always pushed each other to do better.

My greatest accomplishment was making it to the state meet three years in a row. And finishing Top 3 All Time in Giddings Xc History.
4. If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
I would probably start running cross country my freshman year, instead of playing football.

After I fainted in my first state meet in 2013. I got up and finished the race. It was the hardest thing I have ever done.

I will miss wearing the black and gold, and competing with all my teammates.

High school goes by fast. So always keep working hard, And make the best out of it.

Coach Ortiz always pushed me to do my best in practice. And that made me into the runner I am today. He also taught me that if you believe in your self, you can do anything.

I will be running cross country and track, at South Plains College this upcoming fall.
