Girls Future Stars of Cross Country: The Next BIG Runners To Watch

Vaughan burst onto the stage last year at the McNeil Invitational where she placed just outside the top 10 at 11th in the girl's varsity gold race. She finished out her freshmen xc campaign with a win at the SPC Championships. She had a strong track season last spring as well finishing 6th in the Texas Relays 1600m running 5:00.34. The sophomore sensation has picked right up where she left off last season with big 2nd place finishes at the Marcus I Invitational and the Ken Garland / Northwest Invitational. At Marcus I she finished only behind Abilene senior Ashton Endsley. Ken Garland she was only behind freshmen London Culbreath
