This week's poll asked who would win the girls relay at Texas Relays. With the out of state talent coming in, we asked if the Texas girls could win each relay or if the out of state relays would sweep or win some. The Lone Star State girls defended home turf and won ALL relays. This state is loaded with talent on the girls side and it is very deep.
Not only did the girls win every relay, but they did so in Texas fashion. Mesquite Horn won the 4x100 in a U.S. #1 45.27, the DeSoto girls took the 4x200 in a U.S. #2 1:35.64, and they also won the 4x400 with a U.S. #1 3:38.99.
