The 42nd Annual Great Southwest always brings in some of the top national talent to the meet. This season is no different and the boys 300h will be a fast one. Miami Northwestern's THOMAS BURNS is the top rated 300 hurdler in the U.S. He comes in with his 35.57 that he ran at his regional meet. He came to the Great Southwest with the intention to get the opportunity to race some of the nations best, "I don't get this kind of competition in the 300h in Florida."
The competition he is referring to is U.S.#2 CHARLES BROCKMAN III. Brockman III, the Plano, Texas native comes in with his 35.97 and he is also looking forward to the competition. Brockman III's familiar competition, ERIC EDWARDS of Houston Langham Creek also embraces the competition, "These two guys are one and two and have run in the 35s and that's what i'm trying to do."
We might see the fastest 300h race of the year. If nothing else, the chance to see the best in the nation square off is rare and we will definitely.
