Cash Kunkel of Burton will compete in the 17-18 boys 1500m this weekend at the AAU Southwestern District Qualifier.
Kunkel is the 2016 UIL 1A state champion in the 3200m. This season, Burton moved to the 2A ranks and Kunkel competed in the 800m and 1600m at the state meet. In the 800m,Kunkel finished 3rd and he finished 2nd in the 1600m.
