The 2015 district meets were the last meets before the rain and mud came to make the rest of the post season....interesting.
At the 16-6A district meet, we saw several teams that were ranked some of the top in the state and in the nation. The Woodlands, Conroe Oak Ridge and College Park boys were all dominant teams as they placed at the state meet with the Woodlands eventually winning the first of their back to back titles. On the girls side, Kingwood and The Woodlands battled all season long and the excitement of team running was definitely on display.
Watch the 2015 16-6A highlight video and see some of the best team racing as some of the best put it all on the line to compete in one of the toughest districts in the state. Also, see if you can identify some of today's state leaders who were freshmen and sophomores back then.
