Sha'Carri Richardson is a passionate person about everything in life, especially when it comes to sprinting. That includes her college decision.
This morning, she sat in the Carter library amongst many family, friends, teammates, and classmates. The thing that stuck out was that there were as many adults in the room as there were students. That speaks to the type of person and the type of support she has.
"When I went on my visit, it was AMAZING!Sha'Carri Richardson- Dallas Carter sprinter
As she sat at the table her final list of three schools were in front of her. However, the school she selected was under the USA jacket she earned this summer while runner with the USA Junior Pan American team.As she gave thanks and shot outs to those that had helped her accomplish what has led her to this moment, she stood up and unzipped the jacket. The revelation was complete in big bright Gold letters...LSU.
Why LSU? "When I went on my visit, it was AMAZING! The coaches and the team are great and the football game was exciting", Richardson said. "I want to be an engineer and they have a special women's engineering program." She is passionate and powerful and she fits the Bayou Bengals sprinting mold perfectly.
