Port Arthur Memorial State Meet Performances:
The Port Arthur Memorial boys 4x100m relay team became just the third high school team all-time to run under 40 seconds Friday at the University Interscholastic League Championships, winning the Class 5A title in 39.80 seconds.

The same team came back only a few hours later and dropped a new US No. 2 all-time effort in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:23.52, becoming just the seventh team ever to run under 1:24. Fort Worth Wyatt also holds the national record in a time of 1:23.31.
