Crayton Carrozza and Bailey Goggans got things jump started in 2018 in a big way in the 800m
During the early goings of this 2018 season, the 800m got off to a fast start and it hasn't slowed down yet. We saw Austin St. Stephens' Crayton Carrozza get things started off with an early and fast 1:54.25 in week one of the season. On the girls side, Marble Falls freshman Bailey Goggans dropped a 2:11.62 just a month ago to catch the state on fire.
Since then, that fire has burned and burned. The El Paso area took the torch and turned things up and now the entire state is burning in the 800m. There are nine girls who have marks under 2:15.00 and seven boys under 1:55.00
