This weekend, we saw some big time wins and performances by TAPPS athletes from all across the state. Here are some of the biggest noteworthy performances.
Brandon Seagreaves
The two time TAPPS 6A boys individual champion Brandon Seagreaves bounced back this week to beat a competitor after taking second place to him last week. This week, Seagreaves put on a kick that couldn't be matched earning himself the win at the biggest meet in the El Paso area, the Canutillo Invitational.
The El Paso Cathedral senior ran a SB 16:03.85 capturing his first win of the season. He has been working on patience and adapting a new race strategy by avoiding mid race surges and trusting his kick. He was able to execute this weekend and it resulted in the win.
