Sharyland Ladies Even Up the Score against Weslaco
Weslaco took down Sharyland at the Yellowjacket Invitational and the Edinburg Invitational while Sharyland took down Weslaco at the RGV Classic. Despite Weslaco having an additional win, Sharyland's win at RGV Invitational was absolutely dominant with only a 26 second difference between their scorers and only 3 seconds between their first and third runner. Junior Delilah Vega has ascended from 4th to 3rd to 1st runner in a matter of three weeks. If Sharyland can find the consistency and maintain the pack mentality that they did at RGV Classic, they're not only going to dominate this meet but could very well be considered the favorites in Region 4-5A.
